Long weekend to Fenway A review of Courtyard Boston-South Boston

I am so glad the room at this courtyard was nice because the weather certainly wasn't. Since it was rainy Fri thru Monday in Boston this weekend 6/23-6/26 we were stuck in our room a little more than planned. The standard king room that we stayed in was huge for the $189 per night we payed. We had a sitting room with couch, tv, desk and small kitchenette(microwave and frig!) plus a very big bedroom with another tv and a nice sized bathroom. The staff was extremely nice and the small bar in the lobby was a plus too. There is a breakfast every morning in the lobby that we never made it to as well as a snack stand with soda, icecream, cookies etc. that is open 24 hours. The rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel was very clean in general.

OK so the draw backs..... you can't walk to anyplace in the city from this hotel. You need to take a cab or the bus provided by the hotel. You need to make ressies with the desk for the shuttle ahead of time and I believe it leaves twice an hour. We took cabs all weekend which can get a little pricey at anywhere from $12 to $20 depending on where you need to go.

We had a very nice stay and I would stay here again for the money it saved me for a popular summer weekend in boston.
