Liked this hotel... A review of Fredericksburg Inn & Suites
We stayed here for three nights on July 12-14. There were three adults and two teens sharing the spacious double queen room. Rate was 89.00 a night. Rooms are tastefully decorated and furnishings look new or not to old. The rooms come with refrigerator and microwave. The location is great, only a one block walk to town which is full of shops and restaurants and even a couple of bakeries. There is a Subway sandwich place right on the corner from the hotel, an easy walk for a quick meal. The two pools and poolside areas are very nicely lanscaped with nice outdoor furniture. There is a large yard area with chairs, lounges and umbrella tables placed on round cement slabs spaced around the yard. There is also a small swing set and horseshoes game too. The breakfast is adequate and served in a small old historical German farmhouse that is attached to the hotel. The breakfast room has a quaint and charming country atmosphere with wooden tables and wood floors but get there early as the eating area is small for the size of the hotel and fills up fast. They do provide trays to take the food to your room. Sodas and Tea from the dispenser in the brk. room were available all day which was nice. The staff was friendly and accomodating. I would stay here again.
