Liked the Hotel and Pool A review of Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa
The only problem I had my night there was the check in portion of my stay. When I arrived to check in at the hotel, they advised me that there was no room booked under my name. Even though I had a reservation confirmation printed from their website. It took them 15 minutes at the front desk for them to create a new reservation at the same price.
When we arrived at our room, we noticed that it is a very nice, large comfortable room. The bathroom is a very nice size, and the beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room was great. Sort of like a Westin feel to it.
The pool area of the hotel was great. It has 4 nice pools, and they are all fun to hang out in. The water is warm as well, but I have to warn anyone who is going to cabazon, that the weather is colder than palm springs. Not much colder, but really windy. The 2nd day we were there the pool area was soo windy that it was like a helicopter was landing over us.
The casino is really nice for people who like to gamble. Gave me much of a Las vegas feel, and it was crowded for a weekday. Most of the tables were full, and the gambling is good, although different from Vegas rules.
Go check out this hotel, you'll have a blast. I didn't eat at any of the restaurants, but I have heard that N9ne is a good steakhouse. I personally prefer LG's in Vegas. The bar upstairs on the 26th floor is cool as well, and they make good drinks that are affordable, plus its fun to hang out with a few friends.
