Kinsky Garden - August 2004 A review of BEST WESTERN Premier Kinsky Garden
My wife and I stayed at the Kinsky Garden during August 2004.
It is a nice hotel in an ideal quiet location. The rooms were were spotless and the breakfast was good. As we tend to spend most of our time out of the hotel this is all we are really looking for.
However, if you want to be in the busy centre this is not the hotel for you.
Having said that it is very close to a tram stop and there are a number of excellent restaurants nearby. The added benefit is that these establishments are much cheaper than those in the main tourist area.
Also the hotel is derectly opposite the entrance to the park and it is a lovely walk to the castle from here. (although uphill all the way!!!)
We strolled to the Charles Bridge in under 15 minutes. It is a pleasant walk, either along the riverside or through Mala Strana. But please note you do not have to cross the Charles Bridge to enter the Old Town there are a number of other bridges much closer, and with considerably less foot traffic.
We intend to visit prague agian in the near future and would certainly stay at the Kinsky Garden again.
