Just average A review of Melia Mexico Reforma
I have just come back from Mexico City, where I stayed at two hotels, Melia and Fiesta Americana, both at Paseo de la Reforma. The Melia Reforma is a reasonable hotel, in a good area of the city, close to the subway and convenience stores, but I had a few problems with their service. There was a problem with the air conditioning of my room, and instead of giving me another room immediately, their staff first brought in a ladder to my room in order to try to fix it. Only after some 10 minutes and no success on fixing the problem, they decided to give me a new room, which took almost 40 minutes and two phone cals to be assigned. Because they did not change my room number in their system, I was woken up at 7:00 AM in a Saturday by their cleaning staff, who just shut the door when realized there was someone in the room. Then, in next day, in the afternoon, the key to the new room did not work, because it still had not been programmed correctly. Service is really a problem at the hotel.
