Jewel of Victoria! A review of Victoria Regent Hotel
A friend of mine and I stayed in a two bedroom suite during August and loved our accommodations. A large living room had two bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms on either side... all had big sliding glass doors that opened onto a large balcony overlooking the harbor. Great views, lots of room, and nicely furnished. The suites are not air conditioned, but since we faced the harbor and usually had a cool sea breeze drifting through, we didn't need A/C, however, we did use the bedroom fans at night. Victoria was unusually warm during our stay, but it was not a problem considering the location of this hotel.
The staff was great and very helpful. The hotel is near quite a few really nice restaurants plus the Chateau Hotel and central bus station were only a 10 minute walk away. A complementary continental breakfast was served each morning on the first floor in a room with a lovely harbor view.
I was quite pleased with the Victoria Regent and highly recommend it to others who want a superb value, perfect location, and lots of living space.
