It's OK..... A review of Renaissance Brussels Hotel

Recently spent a weekend there because we got a good rate of Euros 89 with breakfast per night. The hotel is located in a quiet and quite pleasant part of town just around from the European Parliament, but is in no way in the center of things. The neighborhood is pretty much dead during the weekend.

The Grand Place is a Euro 8 taxi ride away, the Avenue Louise shopping district is a 10 minute walk away.

The Hotel itself is new and in good physical shape. The rooms are large, nicely decorated and quiet. Unfortunately the bed was terrible, both my wife and myself woke up with backaches.

The hotel is heavily frequented by tour busses over the weekend. We had the same breakfast experience as another reviewer. The staff and kitchen were in no way able to keep up with the demand. Service was distracted and surly.

The breakfast buffet itself offered a good and tasty selection. The Hotel bar was obscenely expensive.
