It's not Las Vegas but it'll do nicely! A review of Hotel Caesar Prague
We had a three night stay at this city centre hotel in September. The hotel is relatively new, so furnishings and fabric are still bright and fresh looking. Our antique twin room( as described in the publicity ) was spacious and well appointed and was air conditioned to boot. Just as well really as the tram tracks outside our window would have been pretty noisy with the windows open. Ask for a room at the back if peace and quiet is a priority for you. The breakfast buffet was good and there was a pleasant if slightly expensive( by Prague standards ) bar on the ground floor. There is a small gym available free to guests, but the sauna is charged for. The hotel is well positioned, about a 5 to 10 minute walk from Wenceslas Square.
A couple of minor quibbles: our room had no shower curtain and guests are charged for coffee and tea bags used---yes, unusually for a continental hotel, there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, together with the usual mini bar.
All in all a good, centrally positioned hotel in what is a stunningly beautiful city. Definitely a cut above your average budget option.
