It'll do for a night A review of SeaCrest OceanFront Hotel
We stayed at Sea Crest in mid April to break up our trip from SF to SD. The desk staff leave a bit to be desired - I'm sorry but being told at 2pm that your room isn't ready, come back later just isn't good enough. We weren't offered to use the facilities or given any alternative - just go away and come back in an hour. Especially disappointing when no paperwork mentions book in time.
We chose an ocean front room and were given top floor which had magnificent views. The room was a great size with two double beds and sitting area as well as a private balcony. It was looking a bit shabby - definitely a cheap family 'use and abuse' type room - but served a purpose for our night's stay.
The pool area was ok - lots of kids, and I mean LOTS. There was an adults only spa which was almost at boiling point.
If you're after a cheap family holiday then this is the place to go. If you're expecting a bit better, go elsewhere.
