Inn at Sunrise Point A review of Inn at Sunrise Point
We stayed for one night at the Inn at Sunrise Point. While the site is lovely, the price of the rooms did not match the service and quality of the place. My frined and I were given the newly refurbished "Wyeth" suite which was a large bedroom, nicely furnished with a new bathroom. My children stayed in a small cottage which had a living room as well as a bedroom. Both rooms in the cottage needed updating and were small. The bathroom was in no way luxurious. I had expected a much nicer place. The cottage where my children were was comparable to some motels suites.
The most upsetting event, however, occurred in dealing with the manager of the place. His attitude was actually grim as well as controlling. The reservation had specified a "full" breakfast which turned out to be whatever he had cooked that morning. There was no choice in entree and we were allowed exactly two pieces of bacon per person. When my friend asked for more, he was told there was just enough for each guest.
At close to $500.00 per room per night, his attitude could use some improvement. Over -rated and overpriced place.
