In a word: SPECTACULAR! A review of Hampton Inn & Suites
I planned a stop at this hotel only because it was on the way in terms of driving. I'm a Hilton Honors member, so I usually try to stay in one of their properties to accrue points. Man, did I luck out! This hotel was fantastic. I had the best night's sleep I've had in a very long time because of their new sleep system - a pile of pillows marked "soft", a pile of pillows marked "firm", a lumbar support pillow, and a guarantee that EVERYTHING - I mean everything - on the bed was freshly cleaned. INCLUDING the comforter. I get a little creeped out by hotel comforters and usually remove them before sleeping in the bed because you never know what that comforter has seen. But this was amazing. It was the most comfortable bed and sheets, the pillows were magnificent and the room was beautifully appointed. I had a king size bed and tons of space in my room. The interenet was easy to get to and I couldn't find anything at all negative about this experience unless you absolutely have to have room service. There is not a restaurant on site, but they do offer a substantial breakfast for free, and it isn't just danish and coffee. It was eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereals, fruits, yogurt, bagels and breads of every kind, all included in the price of your room. Fresh coffee is also available 24 hours a day. I used to think that Hampton Inns were equivalent to La Quinta Inn or Holiday Inn, but this was much closer to the Hilton experience, but at a very reasonable price.
