Immaculate accommodations, service for the most discriminating A review of Yosemite Big Creek Inn
We chose the Big Creek Inn hoping there might be a bit of a personal touch, and could not have been more pleasantly surprised; it far surpassed our expectations. The are able to accommodate the most discriminating guest.
First, the Fish Camp location is great. Their secluded grounds are rustic with a hammock down by the stream, and a wonderful large deck area with new hot tub.
Secondly, the living quarters are immaculate; bright and cheery, not rustic at all. The sunny, comfortable rooms have a touch of high-tech to make your stay more enjoyable. High quality beds, gas log fireplaces, decks with rocking chairs, TVs with VCR/DVD players.
Third, the innkeeper knows the area well and provides great advice, such as best places to jog, excellent restaurants, secret local swimming holes, and more. There is a well-stocked library of books and tapes about Yosemite, movies and games, and a refrigerator filed with sodas.
The Big Creek Inn hospitality and fine taste allow your stay to be most memorable. This is definitely at the top of the list of favorite places we'll be returning to, and we'll feed the jays peanuts again from the balcony!
