If it this much trouble just with the reservation..... A review of Boston Marriott Newton
I made reservations for my boss & his family for his daughter's graduation. I have not stayed here, but the after the people I have dealt with, I feel compelled to write a review. First, when I called the hotel to add the traveler's Mariott Rewards number to the reservations, they booked a room at a Marriott in Hilton Head, SC. The hotel did call to let me know they made the mistake, but the reservation was not canceled. Only when I got online to view the reservations, was I able to cancel the SC one. If I would not have done so, my boss would have been charged for a room in a different state that he did not even book. Another thing is transportation. I called the concierge to get a limo for the family. She called me back & let me know she had the transportation lined up. After I asked her for the contact info for the limo company, I called the company to find out that a van, not a limo had been reserved for us. When I asked the concierge about this, she said that she thought a van would be fine, and it was a very nice van. I tried to explain that's not what I had requested at all! I make a lot of travel plans for my company & I have never EVER dealt with a Marriott like this.
