I don't know... A review of 1905 Basin Park Hotel
In staying in Eureka Springs one night to investigate wedding plans for this fall, we stayed at the Basin Park Hotel a few weeks ago during the Eureka Springs off-season. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were more than accommodating with their shuttle service.
However, service seems to move in slow motion throughout the hotel, including the restaurant/bar upstairs. Perhaps we're simply used to a faster-paced lifestyle.
The biggest drawback about Basin Park I found was being able to hear every word, laugh, cough, and sigh from the guests staying in the room below ours. The walls are so thin we could not escape waking up as early as everyone else in the building. Maybe the age of the hotel is its biggest detriment in that regard. Charm it has, privacy it does not.
