I checked in--and checked right back out. A review of Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Annapolis

The location is terrible, reminding one of location between an airport and rental car row. The whole place smelled like Raid. The room was miniscule and dirty, with the king bed taking up most of the space and leaving little room to walk. I immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a recommendation for a more upscale hotel. The clerk was very nice and happened to be on the phone with a clerk at Annapolis Marriott who quoted her a great rate over the phone. Though the normal price for Marriott is 40% higher than the $89 Radisson was going to charge, Marriott is well worth the cost. In the future, even without the discount the clerks worked out for me, I will choose Marriott for its superb location, breathtaking views, and GORGEOUS, romanesque rooms with pillars and balconies over and over again.
