I can suggest a better choice A review of Hotel Lusso
On a recent trip to Spokane my husband and I decided to try a "sampler" of Spokane alternative hotels. We spent one night at the Lusso, which we thought very pleasant. Complaints were minor--room size and slightly indifferent staff didn't by any means spoil the stay. But the second night we came across a true find--The Reid House complex in Browne's Addition--several historic homes offering lodging just a few blocks west of downtown. We stayed in The Odell House, next door to the Reid House. The price was half the Lusso and the room was SO much nicer--not just a room, but a complete furnished apartment in this great old historic home. It's a quiet, mansion neighborhood, the owner was friendly and helpful, and it's walking distance to several nice places to eat. If you like the Lusso, you'll LOVE this little gem--The Reid House.
