Hyatt big resort with little problems A review of Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa & Marina

Just got back from a long weekend there. The Golf course was beautiful and played fast and was in great shape. The Food at the hotel was good.

The Marina was our clear favorite. Very loud and casual , great for our kids. Breakfast on the michner terrace was a good value 15 buffet. ( included lox and bagel as well as frech toast eggs etc.) Now the problems. Service was sporadic at best in the hotel. Our friends order ice cream from room service at 9pm , it came to there door at 11pm.

Pools were very nice , but the resort is crowded with boaters, had to fight for chairs. Also not enough umbrellas made for a schorching day in the sun, unless you got them early. All taken by 6:30am. last thing bring bug spray by the tank, bad mosquito year. still asying all that had a good time and would say its a good long weekend place to visit.
