HUGE rooms, great location! A review of Comfort Inn Monterey Peninsula Airport
We stayed here as part of our month-long West-coast tour and rate this hotel well. It was located close to the quietest airport in the world(!!) and even though it was next to a busy road, it was so well secluded by trees that it was very peaceful. The room was HUGE - our small daughter loved the floor space to run around in and the private balcony was good to have. The beds were comfy and all our needs were met (micro, fridge, TV etc). The bathroom was OK, though not great - the only real downfall. The front-desk staff were very pleasant and the quaint breakfast room (only two small breakfast tables!) was sufficiently stocked. There is a restuarant located within the grounds, but we considered it too expensive for our needs and took the 10-minute drive into Monterey to eat. In all, this country-style Inn stood apart from run-of-the-mill motels; it served our needs and was ideally located for a peaceful stay within easy reach of facilities. We're fussy travellers (well, I am anyway!) but we'd stay here again, so that's a pretty good recommendation!
