How could you NOT love this place!?? A review of Apple Farm Inn
What a wonderful place straight out of a time long ago and far away. From the minute you drive in, you know you're in for something special. This hotel is so darn "cute" you just wont believe it. So much detail with period pieces (old fashioned car outside, etc.) and just that homey, old fashioned, sweet old time charming feel. Oh...and did I mention apples?? Even the communal checkers game in the lobby area uses mini apples as playing pieces!! Home made apple cider and coffee are always flowing in the lobby, and homemade cookies offered around 7PM. Make sure to visit the gift shop and apparently the ice cream on site is to die for. Avoid the horse carriage ride if you can that's offered to guests. Its rather pricy, and the tour guides (albeit VERY sweet girls) didn't really provide a tour.....they just took you for a ride. $40 for 20 minutes, $60 for 45 minutes and $75 for an hour. The rooms are great with complimentary take home soap, cider and jams provided in the room. Make sure you opt for the rooms in the "Inn" portion as opposed to the "Trellis Court". The level of detail in the hotel, in the halls and in the rooms are incredible. Step into this hotel and welcome to a trip through time back to the days when mom's apple pie, cookies and good old country living were commonplace. Enjoy!
