We wanted to get away, somewhere romantic and secluded. The Hyatt Lake Las Vegas looked great...Boy was that a mistake. We booked three nights at $150 per night. I'm thinking that this price should get us quality treatment. Wrong!!!!The first thing that the desk clerk said was that for more $$ we could get a nicer room. I knew then what to expect. Our "resort view" room was a view of the orange retaining wall on the facade of the building. I couldn't even see a tree. So, after bringing this to the attention of the hotel, they again asked me to pay more for better...bad.Did I mention that there was a rocous conference going on, full of loud, drunken men all over the lobby? This was no 5-star resort...The food is way over-priced, the resort is in no way secluded or quiet. Trust me, spend the same money at a Strip Hotel and you'll thank me later. We left as soon as we woke up in the morning and went downtown and were treated fabulously by the folks at the Aladdin. I highly recommend the Resort Vista Room.
