Horrible service A review of Hilton Garden Inn Charlottesville

Let me just start by saying it is a really nice, clean brand new hotel. But there is nothing special. First the TV's are not HD they are just flat screen so the quality is horrible. Also they do not have room service for Breakfast at all. Now I will say the location is wonderful and the there is free high speed internet.

Now the bad part. We checked in, the lady at the front desk said we could have a late checkout that we had requested. We DID NOT tell her a time. She told us 2pm. Well our last day they called us at 11:15am and said that checkout was at 11AM. We kindly explained they had said 2pm, and she had said that they would never do that. We had called back and she argued saying over and over that they would never agree to that. Let me tell you when we left it was the same girl that checked us in. And as we were leaving we had made eye contact and she ran off into the back room. Well that showed us she knew she was wrong, but we had to be out by 12PM.

I am not saying don't stay here, but it's not worth the money. Go to the Holiday Inn farther down 64west and they treat you ten times better and the hotel does not lie to you about the amenities.
