Horrible Experience!! A review of Moorpark Hotel

My husband and I travel to San Jose often to visit our grown kids and their families. Typically we stay at the Hotel Valencia on Santana Row, the hotel was sold out so we decide on the Moorpark and thought the change would be nice.

It was too bad that there was only one person checking people in, we waited for almost half an hour to get registered. Then I asked the nice girl why she was so busy, I had no idea she would tell me everything. Apparently someone had been fired that day and another person did not show up to work. She rolled her eyes and basically told me how terrible the management was there and that nobody wanted to be there including her! As we neared our room I could tell the room would be loud, the hotel is located right off the freeway and all you can hear from the room and the pool is the traffic. It was loud all the time! There is nowhere to go and nothing to do in walking distance from this hotel. From now on if the Hotel Valencia is sold out we will postpone our trip, I never want to experience that again.
