Hated the Radisson A review of Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for a mini-vacation weekend to relax. We were very impressed by the fancy lobby and the curteious staff. However, when we stepped out of the elevator on the 16th floor, we saw that the knobs on the room doors were knobs-- not handles. Now, when you have a physically challenged friend, this is very hard (even though they had a handicapped room). The numbers on the room doors were number plates screwed on the door-- the gold metal numbers that you would buy at a hardware store. When we went into our room, it smelled horribly. It was a non-smoking room too. The worst was the bathroom. It had no fan so it smelled really bad. But the worst part of the bathroom was the toilet. The handle was under the sink and it was one like you find in an airport-- one that you flush by kicking the handle with your shoe. It was loud too-- we could hear others flushing their toilets in the middle of the night. We named it the power potty. The food was good, but it was overpriced. And the walls are paper thin too. I've stayed in all of the hotels in downtown Indianapolis-- I recommend either the Hyatt Regency or the Embassy Suites. Good Luck!!!
