Had a really great spa experience! A review of Water's Edge Resort & Spa
Spent a night at Waters edge with my best friend. Our room was very nice. I feel the room (with 2 queen beds) was larger that the average room with 2 beds. Hotel property is very well kept and the view of the beach is stunning. Room itself was very clean. We treated ourselves to some Spa treatments that were very enjoyable. The spa staff were very professional and went out of their way to serve us. We both had Manicure/Pedicure. We both went for the rose pedicure which was very nice but not worth the extra money for a few rose petals. A regular Spa pedicure would have been the same minus the rose petals for less money. I had a classic manicure. That was fine as well. I got all of the same treatments as my friend who got rose petals and I did not. Both Manicure and pedicure looked fabulous. The manicurist was kind enough to wait for me to have a hot stone massage before she completed my manicure. I felt that she really went out of her way to accomadate me. The Hot Stone Massage was fabulous! Go for the 90 minutes since the 50 minutes goes by too fast! Massage rooms were really nice: soft lighting, heated table, relaxing music and large enough for the therapist to move about freely. Therapist made me feel comfortable and secure at all times. I had the same therapist for a 25 minute reflexology treatment. That too was heavenly. I left feeling wonderful. Do book yourself a treatment or 4 during your stay. We had dinner at the hotel resturant. The waiter was friendly the presentation was nice and the food was ok. I would eat there again. There were a few conferences going on during the day. Their accomodations seemed very nice as well.
