Had a great time! A review of Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark
I took my two teenaged children (aged 13 and 17) to the hotel and waterpark for Easter weekend and we really enjoyed it. I would say that two nights was enough however with the Six Flags park across the street not open yet. We arrived at about 3 on Saturday and left around 10:30 on Monday and that was enough time. The kids (and I) enjoyed the waterpark very much. It was large enough (including lazy river and water basketball) to keep them amused but small enough so I could find them when I wanted too. The rooms were large and had a small microwave and fridge as well as free internet access (bring an ethernet cable). Good dining options, our favorite being the cafe across from the gift shop. There was also a fun arcade with dance dance revolution and lots of furry friends (daffy and bugs) roaming around. I thought the staff were all very nice and our rooms were always made up during the day. The sheets are a little rough so you might want to bring your own pillow or pillow case.
