Grim little dungeon A review of Sutton Suites And Extended Stays

We should have turned around and left when we first walked in. There was a lady screaming into her cell phone that she was not staying in a dungeon. The people in front of us were almost in tears in trying to get themselves understood. They wanted a shuttle ride and were told it would cost them $24.00 each. Our room was just being cleaned when we were told it was ready. This was 3 pm. The maids did not vacuum and washed the dishes with no soap. The bathroom had hair from various body parts on the floor and my towel had a long black hair that I did not see until I felt it wrapped around my face. There were ants in the kitchen. The bed spread was gross and the sheets did not fit the king sized bed so we wound up sleeping most of the night on the mattress.

The bottom floor rooms are below ground level and our window had a lovely view of all the garbage that blew in or was discarded. Toilet paper wrappers and fast food containers galore. The lighting is so poor in the ground level hall as to make you think of a dungeon. On the second day after a long day at the hospital(where I had gone for tests) we found ourselves locked out of our room. We had to then convince the "gentleman" at the front desk that we had paid for 3 days and though we weren't happy about our room it was indeed ours. Not once were we ever thanked or spoken to with courtesy. We actually tried to be so kind as to get that kind of response to our courtesy. It did not work. The help screamed from one end of the hall to the other at 7:30 am and the smell from the cooking done in the building was over powering. My husband and I both like East Indian food but there was no way of venting the very pungent smell from our room.

This was the worst of any of our Expedia stays and we've stayed in many booked via this service.
