Great Value A review of Hilton Meadowlands

I booked the Sheraton Meadowlands through Starwood Preferred Guests approximately 2 months in advance as an pre-night stay to the Giant-Eagles game at Giants Stadium on November 28. We arrived late in the evening. Check-in was smooth. Walter at the desk was very pleasant. I requested a room with a nice view. We were given a corner room on the 16th floor with a nice view of the NYC skyline.

Parking was in an adjacent lot to the hotel--very short walk. And the parking was free--the front desk gives you a pass to show the parking attendant.

Room was clean and nicely sized. Given the lateness of the hour, we did not explore the area. The next morning we had the pleasure of seeing all of the Eagles players leave for the game (Go Donovan McNabb and Tyrell Owens!!!). It was a great surprise that our team was staying in the hotel.

The Bistro Restaurant has a great buffet for about $14pp--with a full spread--eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, french toast, muffins, bagels, fruit, cereal and yogurt. Definitely worth it.

Check-out was easy and the front desk provided directions to the nearby stadium. Rooms were clean, bed was extremely comfortable and towels and linens were fine. My husband and I were overall very pleased with the hotel and would stay there again for a pre-night stay before a game or event.
