Great service A review of DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge
I arrived at the Great Divide Lodge on Sunday the 7th of March. Upon first glance it looks like every other hotel in the area, but it isn't.
Upon walking in the door I noticed an enormous fireplace with sitting areas placed on each of its three sides. In it's main sitting area there were snacks such as granola bars for anyone to eat, and the bar was located about 20 feet away; easily accessable for a quick drink.
When I arrived at my room on the third floor I walked out on the balcony and was taken away by the beautiful view. On the 3rd day my friends and I had discovered that we had left the do not disturb sign on the door, so we had no towels. I called the front desk and a kind voiced young lady answered the phone. I made my request for towels and they were brought up at that very moment, there was no waiting as there is in other hotels that I have stayed at in the past. There was also a ski storage area, a parking garage, a small game room, and a ski rental shop in this hotel. However, there was one thing that impressed me very much about this hotel. If you are over 25 years old, they will let you drive their house cars around town free of charge. You may be wondering what their cars are, right. They are BMW 330i's, BMW X3's, and some BMW wagon's. If you decide to take a trip to Breckenrige, you have to check this place out, it is well priced and convenietly loacated.
