Great rooms, Poor Service A review of Quinault Beach Resort and Casino
Took a trip a few weeks ago and the weather was wonderful. When we walked through the doors into the elegant resort, we thought we were in for a lovely stay. We were impressed with the rooms but would have liked to see a microwave. When it comes to service, this resort ranks poorly in my book. I sincerely hope Management takes service more seriously. I saw many unhappy cutomers of the "Bistro" when their order was somehow lost after waiting for over an hour!! very slow service and your lucky if you get your meal. The gambling was fine, except when I had to deal with the Keno worker running the desk. he was rude, wasn't willing to explain things, rather just groan and point. He was more interested in conversations with his co-workers. My business didn't matter to him. The front desk at Emily's was the same. We were asking questions and they didn't seem to know the answers nor did they care to find out for us. The lounge was ok. would prefer the DJ would stick with music everyone can listen to instead of mostly RAP, I saw alot of people leaving when that started, especially the older customers who started walking back to their rooms. What a shame to put so much money into such a beautiful establishment not to do the same on quality service training. A great room to stay in---be sure to bring food with you!
