Great property! A review of Renaissance Cleveland Hotel
I recently completed a lengthy business assignment that kept me in Cleveland four nights a week for nine months. I stayed at the Cleveland Renaissance and couldn't have been happier. Even before they got to know to me, they provided an excellent stay. The bellman jump to help you, the front desk is courteous and efficient, and the concierge is very helpful. The club level provides a great breakfast, and evening appetizers. The hotel itself is a historic property, and so elevators can be slow. But the hotel is very distinctive, and has large public gathering areas, convenient for drinks from their lobby bar or reading a book. Rooms, all unique, are elegantly furnished and decent in size. I would recommend a room on the outside, not the inside that overlooks the pool (echoes make these rooms loud). The Sans Souci restaurant in the hotel is excellent- I ate here many times during my stay, for both lunch and dinner. The room service menu is good, and service is prompt. The location of the hotel is ideal- within easy walking distance to many restaurants, and Jacobs Field. It's also attached to a decent mall with good shopping and dining. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Cleveland.
