Great place to stay A review of Desert Rose Inn & Cabins
We arrived May 2, 2005. The hotel is neat, clean, and attractive on the inside and the outside. The room was very spacious with a large separate vanity area and the bed was comfortable. The lodge has a large porch on both sides with chairs placed for relaxing and taking in the views. The desk clerk recommended a restaurant that is next to the Navajo Twin rock formation and we really enjoyed it. We ate our evening meal and breakfast there and had good food and good service and they were priced reasonably. This hotel is close to Natural Bridges National Park, Hovenweep, Valley of the Gods, Mexican Hat, Goosenecks of the San Juan Park, and Monument Valley. Don't miss the view from the top of Cedar Mesa at the Moki Dugway overlooking Valley of the Gods. I really enjoyed Valley of the Gods and the view from Goosenecks of the San Juan.
