Great Place for a Short Stay: A review of Hyatt Regency Bethesda
This hotel is located in the prime area of Bethesda, between Bethesda Row and Woodmont triangle. There is a new Daily Grill restaurant located on site and Morton's Steakhouse is almost open. Beware the Daily Grill, prices are very expensive for Bethesda! A short walk south will take you to more realistically priced restaurants.
The rooms are OK, with the carpets showing their age. The bathrooms are nice and clean with big vanities. The Metro red line is conveniently located underneath the hotel with only a 25 minute ride to the national mall.
I have to agree with another reviewer, I don't know why but when the Hyatt has a conference for 100 people they put 99 chairs in a room designed for 50 people. Not very comfortable
Otherwise this place is great for a short stay in the D.C./Bethesda area
