Great Place for a Family Stay A review of Residence Inn Sandestin at Grand Boulevard
Just got back from a weekend stay at the Residence Inn and it was wonderful. The hotel is brand new and only a few months old. I traveled with my pregnant wife and 2 year old daughter. The room was a studio room complete with a kitchen that included a refrigerator, stove (two eyes), dishwasher, and fully stocked kitchen (cups, plates, etc). The kitchen and bathroom countertops are granite and look spotless. The floors in the kitchen, bathroom, and the bathroom shower walls are a good quality ceramic tile and there are no blemishes to be found. The service at the hotel was great and we were met with smiling faces at the front desk and by the service staff. For recreation, there is a jacuzzi, a relatively small pool, and an one-goal basketball court available. Small and cozy and good for the kids
Probably the greatest feature of this hotel is that it is a part of the Sandestin properties. This means that you have access to all of the Sandestin amenties including the Wharf which includes several shops and great restaurants. You also have the option to take the shuttle to the other areas of Sandestin including the beach.
Also have to add that there is a full breakfast available daily that includes sausage, eggs, waffle maker, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, and more. Good spot for the kids to fuel up before a nice day out at the park.
This hotel is a must-see and a good value for the price$$.
