Great pit stop enroute to home A review of La Quinta Inn & Suites Salt Lake City Airport

On a recent drive from Colorado to San Francisco, it was so fortuitous that we turned into the drive of this hotel. We were exhausted, had no reservations (didn't know where we would be stopping) and pulled in off the freeway. "Yes, we have a room" said the clerk and proceeded to give us a registration card. "How much?" I asked, worried I was going to be forking over a hundred dollars (the lobby was very luxurious). $55. Wow! Our huge room was so comfortable. We had two double beds, a large bath, a big TV with lots of cable channels, free high-speed internet, and info for 3 places that would deliver dinner (pizza, chinese or Mexican). We ordered the pizza, which came in about half an hour, ate in our comfy beds and watched the Simpson's Halloween special. Ahhhhhh.

The breakfast buffet was a big surprise; bisquits and gravy, muffins, toast, bagels, boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, juice, coffee.... We loaded up and pushed on for the rest of the drive to San Francisco.
