Great location, good room, terrible service A review of Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport

This hotel has a great location. Close to the Metro, Crystal City Shops and the row of great restaurants on 23rd Street. However, the management and service are very poor. I have stayed there many times for meetings held in the hotel or in the Crystal Forum (their mini convention center). Each time it is always something like forgeting to make up the room, used condoms left in the room by previous guests, inability to retrieve voice-mail messages even after repeated attempts and calls to the hotel manager, rude restaurant staff (I will never eat in their hotel restaurant ever again), problems with overcharges on the bill, etc. etc. It seems that Marriott spent millions to build a beautiful hotel and then hired incompetent managers to run it. Too bad.

This hotel has so much potential. I hope your experience is better than mine has been.
