Great Hotel A review of Park Inn by Radisson Central Tallinn
I've visited Tallinn three times now and each time stayed at the Reval Central Hotel. It is cheap, central, very clean, friendly and quiet.
We always book a superior room as these rooms are bigger with a large bath tub and a mini fridge. The rooms are larger than in many five star establishments yet considerably cheaper.
There is free internet access in the lobby, and the reception staff are always friendly and helpful. There is an ATM just outside the entrance door which is very useful as hotel exchange rates are not usually very good.
The breakfast buffet is good, the usual Swedish selection of cold meats, fish, fruit, salads, yogurts, breads, cakes, cheeses, sausages, scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs. Only good and not great cos it doesn't have my favourite soft boiled eggs. But plenty for the greediest of piggies.
The Old Town is a five minute walk away, as is the port, there is a shopping centre just two minutes away, tram stop likewise, and an off licence round the corner. The hotel restaurant and snack bar are also excellent.
My only word of warning is DON'T USE THE RESTAURANT OPPOSITE IT IS RUBBISH.
