Great hotel A review of Atlanta Marriott Airport
Our stay was unexpected because we missed our connecting flight in Atlanta because of bad weather. I called around to a buch of different hotel brands and this was the cheapest, $80. Great rate for only booking the room a couple hours in advance.
The hotel is only minutes from the airport and had a free airport shuttle which was a must for our stay. The hotel has three seperate resturants and a gift shop and business center. At check in they said the could only give us a king size bed w/o a rollaway but they later opffered us the rollaway at no-charge.
The pool was closed when we arrived (after midnight) but looked nice. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and a 24 hour fitness center which looked nice, I used the Sauna. The room was big enough as hotel rooms go. The hotel throws in lots of amenities that are good for the traveler. There was a free Newsweek, TV guide and Where Magazine to take on your flight. Also at check in the gave us 3 coupons for free drinks at the Starbucks Kiosk in the morning (because we are marriott rewards members). The room also came with 2 bottles of free water.
All in all we had a great stay at the hotel. If your visiting Atlanta you probably want a hotel in Buckhead or Midtown but for a quick stay this did just fine. :)
