Great Hotel A review of Hilton Longboat Key Beachfront Resort
We stayed at this hotel in August 2004.
The hotel was very clean. The rooms were larger than most hotels on the beach.
The staff was just oustanding. They really took care of everyone.
The beach was clean, safe and fun. The ocean was calm most days.
The room came with a "bounceback" breakfast each day. The scrambled eggs were most likely powered eggs, the potatoes were more like cardboard and the bacon was mostly fat. They could improve this small issue.
The hotel was easy to access from major roads and it was very close to a major Publix grocery store were one can buy bottled water, soda or custom made quality sandwiches. It really cut vacation costs to buy food there. They even have beach toys for sale.
There are several good places to each on the island and many majors ones within 5 miles.
There was an exercise room, a wonderful bar and big screen flat panel Tvs, but the big draw is the ocean. The beach was well worth the trip.
This hotel is very well kept and it continues to receive upgrades.
