Great hotel A review of Courtyard By Marriott Brussels
This is a great hotel not far from the airport, I think about midway between airiport and downtown --in any event, not a bad cab ride from airport. It is just down a mile or two down the road from NATO headquarters.
I arrived early AM on an overnight flight from Africa at the end of an exhausting business trip. I had made my reservation by internet and requested early check-in at 7AM.
I arrived at the hotel as expected 7AM and was warmly greeted by the front desk clerk, who welcomed me by telling me that my room was ready as requested and that I had been upgraded.
Since it was a holiday, I spent 24 hours at the hotel, but it was quite pleasant. Quiet, super clean and I think relatively new. The hotel has a good restaurant called Zinc and a nice bar. Internet terminals in the lobby and wireless internet as well. Time on the system can be purchased in blocks in line with your needs. The hotel is in a neighborhood with a nice park behind it and one along side, so walking is nice in the area.
The hotel has a small shop by the front desk like many Courtyards and a free shuttle back to the airport. I definitely plan to stay there again.
