Great hotel with a few flaws A review of The Lodge at Buckberry Creek
This is indeed a lovely hotel, from location to rooms.
The rooms are quite spacious and they have great bathrooms with both shower and jacuzzi baths.
Then we ate in the restaurant and that is what lets this hotel down, the food was good but it was not as good as the very high price tag would suggest (prices range from $30 - $48 for a main course), this is the most expensive meal I have eaten in America and I cannot say it is the best. Then when it comes to breakfast you can either have the free continental breakfast (which mainly consisted of muffins or muffins) or the al a carte menu that ranged from $9 - $12 after the experience with the eveing meal we stuck to muffins. For the price of this hotel I think they should be offering a hot free breakfast.
In general this hotel is worth the stay it is a very good standard of hotel, it just has a few flaws that need ironing out.
