Great hotel in SLO A review of Quality Suites San Luis Obispo
We arrived in SLO en route from LA to San Francisco in August 2004. Did not have any accommodation booked in advance and so had a look round a few of the motels/suites just off I-101. We decided on the Quality Suites on the basis of appearance, price ($135 on a Sat night), location and a good size pool.
We booked a 2 double bed room which was an excellent size - lots of room for 2 adults and 2 kids - aged 15 and 11. It was more like a suite as there was a lounge area with 2 tvs, a corner sofa suite, dining table, microwave and fridge. Local restaurants deliver to the rooms direct. The pool was a good size with hot and cold spa tubs.
We thought the price was good for the room (compared to other places in the same area) but it also included a fully cooked american breakfast. Eggs, bacon, pancakes etc all cooked to order as well as muffins and bagels and a full range of cereals and juices. If you think the other places in the area offer the same - think again. This place is a worth a few extra dollars.
If we are ever in SLO again, we would stay here.
