Great hotel choice for travel A review of Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport

A little late, but better than never:

We stayed at the Hyatt on our wedding night in August 2005. The service was very pleasant. We were very pleased with our room. Good size, wonderful shower with two heads, nice bedding.

We were however disappointed with the noise level. There were children on the floor banging around. (Slamming doors, running up and down the hallway, yelling.) This was less than romantic and admittedly not the hotel's fault. I was however suprised that the room wasn't better sound-proofed. We probably should have complained, but it seemed like more effort than it was worth since the banging began after we had gone to bed.

We needed to arrive at the airport at 5:30 a.m., so the location couldn't be beat. I actually was disappointed we were leaving so early that we couldn't have breakfast delivered to the room!

We are staying again in May before an early trip. This time we won't hestitate to complain about noisy neighbors!

Oh, and a great tip -- try hotwire(-). We got a our room for $66 -- you can tell it's the Hyatt by the tax on the room!
