Great hotel, but be sure 2 tell them your political view @ res time A review of La Posada Hotel
stayed here at the end of june and had a great time. arrived 7am on Amtrak & tho there was no available room for me, they rushed 1 the minute the first room checked out. in the meantime, they told me to enjoy the continental breakfast that was being put out for the guests.
sat in the patio with the "local welcoming committe". 5 local business men who gave me the scoop on winslow--what a nice group they were. when my room was ready, had to tease the check-in clerk that they should have asked my political view as they put me in the "barry goldwater" room. all rooms are named after previous guests. since it was over 100 that day, i spent the day in & around the hotel; moving from patio to patio & public room to public room, even took an official tour of the hotel given by a local winslow resident. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK
