Great HoneyMoon Suite A review of Paradise Plaza Inn
I'm writing this review, because I think this hotel is getting a pretty bad rap here. My husband and I stayed at the Paradise Plaza with our two kids, 1 and 5 years old, in July 2002. We requested a room with a jacuzzi, and we received the honey moon suite. The room was spotless and looked renovated. We had a big terrace with plenty of lounge chairs to have a party. Our bedroom jacuzzi was clean. There were plenty of little extras: bubbles, shampoo, conditioner, etc., snow white bathrobes, a separate living area with second TV, including videogames, and pull out sofa for the kids. The furniture seemed new. Separate bathroom with bathtub, dubble sinks and toilet, a small kitchenette with mv and fridge. Location was great too. Parking was sometimes a problem, but did not have to wait for more than 5 minutes to get a spot. Location is great, so you don't really need your car once you have a parking spot. From what I remember about the staff, they were friendly and courteous. Was just surprised that no one accompanied us to the room when we arrived. The restaurant was great, but I don't think they had a kids menu. Since our kids are used to dining out and eating a variety of foods, that was no problem either. If you are looking to spend your time at the outside pool, you may want to book another hotel. The pool is near the garbage disposal area, and it is very small and fenced in, in a part of the parking lot. However, the hotel is on the boardwalk, so in a couple of steps you can be in the ocean. Yes, I would definitely stay there again.
