Great for a longer stay A review of Homewood Suites Seattle-Downtown

I just stayed six nights at this hotel and I really enjoyed it.

I stayed in one of their small suites which had a kitchenette/living room, bedroom, and bath. The kitchen area had a big sink, 2-burner stove top, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dish washer, lots of cabinets and a counter with three stools. Utensils, pots, and pans were included. The room had a small deck but my room was above the freeway and the deck was noisy.

It is next to the Washington State Convention Center where my meetings were. It is close to the Paramount theater and ACT theater, Egyptian movie theater and the downtown area.

Breakfasts are included; Ethernet is available for about $10 a day with a computer desk and a great chair (one of those adjustable mesh office chairs).

When I first walked into the room it looked a little old (especially the carpet and upholstery) but I soon grew to appreciate the reasonable price, space, location, and the meal savings from the kitchen and breakfasts.
