Great Choice A review of Quality Inn & Suites Patriots Pt.
My family took a fourth of July trip to Charleston and this was the perfect choice for lodging. I chose this hotel based on the reviews of others, and we were very pleased. It was out of the way enough to be quiet, but central to everything we did. Just over the bridge from downtown Charelston, right down the road from the Patriot's Point museum and golf course, and just a drive away from public beaches and other attractions. The fireworks at Patriot's Point from the USS Yorktown were fantastic, and we just had to walk from the hotel while others had to deal with traffic and parking. The only complaint I have is the dampness of the room. It was VERY humid in July, and that may have been a factor, and it may help to stay on the upper floors. We were on the first on the slab so that probably made it worse. The staff was great, especially Sheila, our morning breakfast hostess. She gets to know each person and makes you feel very welcome in the mornings. They also have a bulletin board at the front desk telling of area attractions, the weather for the week, and other helpful info. If you choose this one, you will come out just fine!
