Good value. A review of Hotel Union Praha
We stayed for 4 nights in February 2005. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was large and cleaned to a high standard every day. Breakfast had a wide range of food to choose from, a fry, various cooked meats, cheese, 4 different cereals and fresh fruit salad, 3 different types of brown bread as well as white, mixed bread rolls, cakes and fresh fruit. Dining room staff were attentive to restocking food and clearing tables.
There are frequent trams passing the hotel, numbers 18 and 24 will have you in the center of Prague in 7/8 minutes. There is a nice Italian restaurant
about 200mts around the corner from the hotel, 9 on the street with the tram lines). It is on a corner and down a set of steps. Very reasonable prices and excellent food.
The hotel has a loft and also does evening meals. As we were there in winter, we had the windows closed at night, and as they are double glazed, there was not too much street noise.
We were very satisfied with our stay in both the hotel and the city which is very beautiful.
