Good value A review of Comfort Suites Paradise Island
We just arrived home from Paradise Island and stayed at the Comfort Suites for 4 nights and 5 days. We have 2 young children and it was a perfect for us. We had a little trouble finding our room and there was no bellhop to assist us and it was a real pain. When we arrived in our room after traveling all over the hotel it was not the room I requested. The staff that helped me was extremely rude as are alot of the people in the Bahamas. Once we got it straigtened out we were in a nice large room with 2 full beds and a sofa/living area. Our refrigerator didn't work very well and our bed linens were dirty and after 2 phone calls and 2 trips to the front desk by 10:30pm they finally gave us the sheets and I changed them myself. Once we got everything straightened out we had a great time. Not because of the Comfort Suites , but because Atlantis was what made our trip worth it. Our kids are 4 and 9. We were able to do different things each day. We hung out at pools, and the beach and the waterslides were a big hit. Everything regarding food and drinks is quite expensive. We enjoyed having the continental breakfast everyday. I had brought snacks and drinks with me to avoid buying everything at Atlantis. If it weren't for the ability to use Atlantis as part of staying at the Comfort Suites I wouldn't stay there again. There is a lot of walking to the pools, especially the waterslides, but no more walking than if you stayed at the beach tower or the Coral towers. It was a great vacation overall but would have been better if we wouldn't have had the troubles we had at the Comfort Suites when we arrived.
