Good value, great location! A review of Cloister Inn Hotel
We just spent eight days here. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, and the lobby was a great place to relax and unwind with complimentary coffee and tea. I was able to walk to all Prague's neighborhoods and tourist attractions (and back) with great ease, and I found nothing misleading or inaccurate on the Cloister Inn's website.
I should point out that this place is not for everyone. The building is a labyrinth to get around - a series of steps, twists and turns and two elevators to get to my 4th floor hotel room - easy to figure out, but not a good hotel choice for a guest with trouble walking. Also, my bed was two twin beds - separate bedsheets and all - pushed together and covered with a queen-sized cover...which doesn't sound bad, but keep in mind that the sheets of a single twin bed can be tucked in and these couldn't be. As it was, it was awkward to sleep with beddings that split in the middle.
The maids cut corners a little bit - a hair from a previous guest was on the floor, and not all my towels were promptly replaced - but otherwise this was a comfortable place and I would stay here again.
