Good Stay at the Sheraton A review of Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel at Keystone Crossing
My 16 year old daughter and I stayed here for one night. We came in the back entrance, and wandered around for quite a while until we finally happened upon the check in desk. Check in was efficient, if not particularly friendly. I asked about the availability of upgrading to a suite, and was told I could for $40 extra. Since it was just the two of us, we stuck to the room. Our room was plenty spacious, the beds comfy, bathroom ok. I don't think there was anyone else on our floor, we didn't see or hear anyone else the whole night or the next day, not that I'm complaining! We called down to get the number for the Cheesecake Factory Restaurant which is in the mall attached to the hotel by a walkway. The desk advised us to stop by and pick up a business card which would put us to the head of the line, and that worked like a charm. We breezed right in in 10 mins or less, when the stated wait was 2 hours! One bad point, the day we left I got ice to fill our water bottles, and used the ice tongs. I noticed something on them and took them in the bathroom to investigate. Gross! There was some kind of yellow sticky crusty stuff all over the inside of the tongs. The worse part was that my daughter had used them in the relative darkeness of the room the night before to fill our water glasses for the night. I'm still getting shivers! The Hotel was in a great location for us, and if we come back to Indy in the same circumstances next year, we will be staying again.
